Pamela Chase Newell is an award-winning artist whose pastel and oil paintings have been recognized and have received awards in many juried competitions. Pam received her BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. She continued her study at the Indianapolis Art Center with Leah Traugott, Marilyn Etchison, and Becky Hall Fehsenfeld. About My Work:

Newell specializes in soft pastel paintings of landscapes, gardens, and still life. Her expressive work reflects her love of gardening (as an Advanced Master Gardener), landscapes and nature, and includes pure pastel and pastel over gouache and watercolor. Pam also captures many scenes in oil. The Fishers artist is a workshop instructor, a faculty member of the Indianapolis Art Center, and also teaches at the Hamilton County Art Center. She has demonstrated several times for the Central Indiana Artists Association and Hamilton County Artists Association.

Galleries include, The Hoosier Salon and Originals. Her work is held in many private collections and may also be viewed by appointment at her studio.
