A graduate of Butler University and Herron School of Art, Pat is a former teacher and librarian and has traveled extensively in Europe, South America and other countries. She has studied art history and attended painting classes in France and Italy with various universities and schools. Her art has been exhibited internationally including Musee Pont-Aven, France, French Library and Cultural Center in Boston and the French Embassy in Wash. D.C.. She has permanent exhibitions in CCA and in
In Cotton’s European, contemporary and expressive style painting, she searches and strives for high contrast of high density color with rhythmic movement of shape and form.
