I am a modern impressionistic artist specializing in acrylic paint. I’ve always had a passion for art and creativity ever since I can remember. My uncle Jo was a big part of it. I grew up with him. He was one of the top fashion designers in the Philippines. I often watched him draw and paint and was intrigued. I came to the US at the age of 12 and continued my passion for art in Carmel HS where I took all the art electives I can squeeze in. I dabbled in some art classes in college while figuring out what I really wanted to do. In the process I had a child, got married, and life took me in another direction. I became a nurse. Even then I still continued creating for myself and others. It grew over the years and became my second career. My uncle always said that if you are passionate about something then it will always be a part of you and it will eventually flourish. Like him. I am a person of few words. Art to me has become a way for me to express myself. Most times I do not even know how I feel until I pick up a paintbrush and start painting. My ultimate dream in all of this is to spread beauty to the world one canvas at a time!
