Acrylic paints are the perfect media for artists as they can be used on many types of surfaces ( canvas, paper, wood, glass etc.) and in many styles and techniques. I prefer using the paints in a transparent layering method on paper, similar to a watercolorist, although I also use opaque techniques. I feel this method is exciting and I never get bored with it.
