About My Work:

I primarily create oil portraits of African American women. I find the color of dark skin mesmerizing. There is a lot of depth in the skin tone and in my opinion a true reflection of their life experiences.

I experiment with a lot of bright and vibrant colors and textures. I am still learning and developing my artistic voice. While creating I often reflect on my childhood and the amazing women who helped raise me.
