Tiffany Marie Parker lives and works in Indianapolis. A recent graduate of Herron School of Art and Design, she paints, draws, and sculpts abstracted figures and objects that embody a truly modern and specifically American Black cultural life. Through her studies at Herron she has developed a sophisticated gestural technique that allows her to reference past artistic styles and movements while focusing on current black culture through the lens of topics such as labor, race and gender.
