Tiffany Parker

Tiffany Marie Parker lives and works in Indianapolis. A recent graduate of Herron School of Art and Design, she paints, draws, and sculpts abstracted figures and objects that embody a truly modern and specifically American Black cultural life. Through her studies at Herron she has developed a sophisticated gestural technique that allows her to reference past artistic styles and movements while focusing on current black culture through the lens of topics such as labor, race and gender. As a Featured Artist for Art & Soul 2017, Parker’s work will represent personal depictions of her life in the past and present. It is her hope that the audience will see themselves or their families in her paintings.
