I collect carburetors, bike frames, and fire hydrants…any mechanical artifacts that I can find. Each piece has its own unique story. When I use these objects in my sculpture, I get the privilege of giving those objects a new story. I prefer working with steel because of its strength, durability, form, and how it deteriorates.
