William Potter, Associate Professor in Foundation Studies, received his MFA degree in Painting from the University of Cincinnati’s school of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning (DAAP) and his BFA in Painting and Sculpture from the Columbus College of Art and Design. He was director of the Foundations Program from 2001-2011, and has been Herron Faculty President since 2009. He currently teaches in both foundation studies and Painting and Drawing.

M.F.A. in painting from University of Cincinnati, B.F.A. in painting and sculpture from Columbus College of Art and Design.
Potter is currently Associate Professor of Foundations Studies at the Herron School of Art and Design.
