Event: JPMorgan Chase 500 Festival Kids’ Day
The JPMorgan Chase 500 Festival Kids’ Day is Indiana’s largest free outdoor festival just for kids! On the second Saturday of May, kids take over Monument Circle for a Month of May celebration that’s sized for them. With interactive, educational displays in a carnival-like atmosphere, Kids’ Day gives children the opportunity to stretch their minds and their muscles.

When: May 12, 2018
What: They are looking for volunteers to create simple sidewalk chalk designs the morning of the event, all talent welcome! (See examples)
Time: Arrival: 9 a.m. Time spent at the event will be dependent on the intricacy of design, number of designs and time needed to chalk.
Extra: As a thank you, each chalk artist will be invited to 500 Festival Volunteer Appreciation Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 19th during Indianapolis 500 Qualifications. The afternoon will include a boxed lunch (track pack), raffle prizes for 500 winner signed merchandise and tickets to the qualifications.
