Job Description
Iibada Dance Company (IDC) is seeking Academy Instructors for youth dancers within our training program. They are currently seeking instructors for Dance Basics 2, Ballet 2, Modern 2, Jazz & Tricks, and Adult Classes.
Responsibilities
Academy instructors will train and youth or adults within focused dance styles. Must be able to manage engagement within class parents and adults. Must be willing to market, build and recruit students for the class as well. Before applying, please review the class descriptions below.
Job requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be technically proficient in the dance style(s) instructing
Must have the ability to work with children
Must be self-starter
Class schedule availability is below
Must be organized and structured in teaching practices
BFA in dance is preferred but not required
Must have a strong presence within the classroom
Discipline must be apparent within your teaching style
Must be able to produce choreography for combinations within the class
