Call for Artists: Applications are now open for 2017 Round the Fountain Art Fair
Called one of the premier small art fairs in the Midwest, Round the Fountain Art Fair is holding its 44th annual fair on Saturday, May 27, 2017. The fair is located around the courthouse in downtown Lafayette and draws a crowd of over 8,000 art lovers. A nearby farmer’s market also happens at the same time and many visitors attend both!
The fair is free to all visitors, and is made possible by donations and booth and jury fees. The focus of the fair is fine art and crafts with particular emphasis on painting, sculpture, glass, ceramics, mixed media, and photography. Applications are being accepted until March 1.
Artists will be juried into the show this year by two outside judges, and will be notified of the results by April 1. Application fee is $35 and booth spaces are $150 for a single booth and $300 for a double booth (limited number available).
Free coffee, loading and unloading help, and booth sitters are among the amenities offered!
Apply at https://www.zapplication.org/event-info.php?ID=5402 by midnight, March 1.
