Want to leave your mark on north central Indiana? Tippecanoe Arts Federation is currently seeking applications for upcoming mural art opportunities!

Each mural will be selected by a core committee of local representatives and featured in a prominent location of their community. County stakeholders will develop themes and select the artist from submitted examples of artists’ previous work.

Project Description

This is a paid public art opportunity for qualified artists to create a mural for the public. Artist stipends begin at a base rate of $5,000 and are increased per the wall dimensions or complexity of design. Travel fees, accommodations, supplies, and equipment will be purchased by TAF and are independent from the artist stipend. Artists from Indiana are given preference for these opportunities but others should not be discouraged from applying.

  • Architectural, Aesthetic Considerations
    - The design must be suitable and acceptable for public display for viewing by citizens of all ages.
  • Artist Eligibility
    - A successful candidate must be community-oriented. The selected artists must execute the artwork on- site in two weeks or less and must be able to independently operate an articulated lift, scissor lift, spray gun, and assemble scaffolding. The selected artist will be able to talk about their artwork publicly and be present for the dedication of the artwork upon finish.

The deadline for this opportunity is June 25, 2021.

Please note the name and photo associated with your Google account will be recorded when you upload files and submit this form.
