FULL WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The story that branding tells is sometimes just as critical to a business’ success as the product sold or the customer service delivered. This is equally true whether the organization is a freshly-formed startup, an individual freelancer, or an established corporation.

For the third Art + Entrepreneurship workshop, Ryan Hunley will walk you through the role storytelling plays in promoting a business, service, or idea. As Owner of Second Street Creative and Director of CreativeMornings/Indianapolis, Ryan is well-versed in what it takes to craft visual stories that powerfully tell a brand’s message. He’ll share the foundational strategies and best practices he uses to create logos, websites, and entire identity systems that inform and inspire. Ryan will also guide you through how to identify and explore your own story through a variety of collaborative branding activities. You’ll learn the central tenants of brand strategies and benefit from a host of examples.

After taking a deep dive into the inner workings of successful brand identities, you’ll gain perspective from a panel discussion featuring some of Indy's most influential storytellers and entrepreneurs, including:

● Michael Kaufmann: Owner + Founder, This is Meru
● Jennifer Magley: Founder, Open Gym Indy
● Amy McAdams Gonzales: Owner + Designer, Matinee Creative
● Elle Roberts: Freelance Writer
● Jingo de la Rosa: Illustrator, Jingillo
● Nick Turner: Founder, ShipperTech
