Art IN Hand Gallery, an artist-owned and operated cooperative, is located along the picturesque brick Main Street in Zionsville Indiana. Nestled among unique local specialty  shops, the gallery is a vital part of this historic downtown shopping destination and  community.

Art IN Hand was founded in 2000 by a group of artists who desired a truly supportive  and independent gallery experience, and continues to count some of these artists  among its members. The gallery displays both 2D and 3D artwork including acrylic, watercolor, hand-pulled prints, and photography as well as ceramics, jewelry, fiber, fused  glass, furniture and other handcrafted wood items.

The gallery is currently seeking two new members, and is open to both 2D and 3D  mediums. 2D could include painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed  media, or other wall pieces; 3D: sculpture, stained or blown glass, fiber, etc.

Member benefits include:

• Representation on the gallery website

• Promotion in our monthly e-newsletters and in print materials

• Participation in special events

• No sales commissions

Artist members pay a one-time joining fee, monthly dues, and are required to work three  days approximately every two months.

Please note: Regarding COVID-19, masks are now optional for vaccinated members  and visitors. For details and gallery hours, please visit our website.

Are you an artist who’s interested in promoting your work and developing business/career skills within the Art IN Hand family? Prospective members can download an application at www.artinhandgallery.com and drop off artwork samples at the gallery for the  membership to review. The deadline for jurying is July 7. For more information, call  317-733-8426, or contact the gallery at info@artinhandgallery.com.
