Call for Entry: Art of Aging
Art of Aging is a juried event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Gerontology program at Purdue University. The juror is a professional member of the art community. Criteria include quality and originality.
Only work selected by the juror will be accepted for the event.
Submission of a work of art shall be understood to indicate an agreement on the part of the entrant, with all conditions described herein, including permission for reproduction for marketing purposes.
Artists will be notified via email by August 5 as to whether they have or have not been accepted.
There is no fee for participation. Entrants may submit multiple pieces for consideration. Accepted pieces must be physically present at the September 15 reception.
All accepted entrants will receive a printed book of all work included in the event.

Open to any individual, with a preference given to those over the age of 55 or whose work best exhibits the theme Time Horizons and Optimal Aging. Artwork must be original work of the entrant and of high quality.
Work may be of any media, but will be juried for quality. No crafts, kits or reproduction.
All work should be submitted for review via digital images in jpeg format. Recommended resolution is 300 ppi. Images should clearly show the detail of the piece and represent the artist’s body of work.
Each artist may submit up to five digital images of each entry. Entries may be submitted via email or CD.
The entry must be labeled with the artist’s name and include a listing of the title, medium and size of each image.
Artwork may not be sold during the event; however, contact information can be shared for sale post-event.
Entries must be received by Friday, July 22, 2016 at 5 pm.
