Artist and Arts/Cultural Administrators of Color/ Resource Guide
In conjunction with the The Americans for the Arts the Indianapolis Cultural Leaders of Color Fellows are launching efforts to build a Midwest resource guide of artists and administrators of color in the Indianapolis region. This secure and inclusive comprehensive guide will be a platform to showcase the skills of creatives from various backgrounds; be they international, immigrant, or domestic.
The four fellows from Indianapolis are trying to gather information from all artists and arts admins of color to better understand who these individuals are, what their goals might be, and they can be better supported. This includes all disciplines of the arts (visual, performing, literature/writing, music, etc.). This project is part of a larger culminating project and is being carried out in all three of the cities related to the fellowship: Indianapolis, Cleveland, and Chicago. The goal is to create a resource guide for each of those communities, and potentially, a larger Midwest resource guide.
