The Arts Council has received multiple inquiries from Assisted Living and Senior Living communities seeking arts activities. These centers are interested in hiring artists to perform and offer workshops and arts activities for their residents. Hands on art making activities are especially high on their list.
If you are an artist or part of an artist team or arts group and would be interested in these opportunities, please let us know. We plan to create a pool of artists/organizations that can be shared with these assisted living groups for future projects and events.
