The Near Northwest community is developing a series of projects that will highlight the assets of local neighborhoods using the arts as a vehicle for engagement. Arts from a variety of disciplines can bring their creativity to the table by engaging in conversations with community members to strengthen and expand upon the dreams, ideas, and beauty of our communities.
The DaVinci Pursuit, in partnership with the Near North West Community and Reconnecting to Our Waterways Canal Committee, is excited to announce an open call to artists to attend an information meeting to learn about upcoming paid opportunities, which include co-leading Artist/Scientist Walks and developing art objects/installations/events near the waterway.
The meeting will be at 2 pm on Saturday, August 17th at Groundwork Indy (1100 Burdsal Pkwy, Indianapolis, IN 46208). Artists of all disciplines and stages of professional development are welcome.
