Arts Midwest Seeks Applicants for GIG (Grow, Invest, Gather) Fund

   

Are you part of a Midwestern nonprofit organization that wants to present in-person or virtual activities with an artist in the first half of 2023? If so, consider applying for Arts Midwest’s  GIG (Grow, Invest, Gather) Fund!

The GIG Fund supports creative projects and educational events in the Midwest, helping organizations present artists in their community and offset the costs of programming and touring. Organizations will now receive $4,000 from the GIG fund, an increase from the previous grant award of $2,500.

GIG Fund Breakdown:

WHAT: The GIG Fund is a grant of $4,000 that helps organizations bring professional artists into their community
WHEN: Applications are due October 5, 2022, and funded projects must occur between January – June 2023.
WHERE: Nonprofit organizations, tribal communities, and local governments located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and the Native nations that share this geography can apply.
WHO: This funding is available to organizations looking to present at least two highly engaging activities featuring a professional artist. Additional funds are available for projects that present US-based Indigenous performing artists.
