The Anderson Center for the Arts seeks for for their Figures of Speech exhibition.
This is your opportunity to turn those classic figures of speech into memorable and interesting works of art. “Birds of a feather flock together” and “putting down roots” are just two examples of phrases that are begging to be turned into a work of art. And who knows? That work of art might just turn into an award for your wit and creativity.
Figures of Speech is open to artists 18 years of age or older who currently or formerly created work in the Midwest (IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, & WI).
Entries must be postmarked or delivered by May 10th, 2017
