Hancock County Coloring Book Call for Artists 2018

The Hancock County Arts Council invites local talent to add a page to their coloring book featuring images that reflect the rural and small‐town character of Hancock County. Artists over 18 are eligible to submit an original line drawing that conveys some aspect of the county. This fundraiser supports the council and highlights professional and amateur artists in the community.

Donors are asked to complete a line drawing in felt tip or ink, approximately 7 inches wide by 10 inches high, and write a brief paragraph about themselves. The bio paragraph will be included in the book. Artists can opt to include their website and contact information as a way to promote their work.

Submissions are due by October 30, 2018.

High resolution digital images at least 300 dpi can be emailed with the bio paragraph to our Fundraising Chair Alice Hedden, AHedden460@att.net .

Submissions by mail on quality stock paper must be postmarked no later than October 30. Send to Twenty North Gallery, 20‐A N. State St., Greenfield, IN 46140. All entrants should include their full name, phone, and email address which will be used for contact purposes, only, unless the information is part of the bio paragraph.

A panel of Hancock County Arts Council members will review the submissions and contact all entrants in early November. The finished coloring book is expected to go on sale the first weekend in December and will be available at the gallery for the Greenfield Christmas Festival.
