Hendricks Civic Theatre OPEN AUDITION and CAST INFORMATION:
"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"

WHEN: Sunday, Sept 18, 5-8 PM & Monday, Sept 19, 6-8 PM
WHERE: Longstreet Playhouse - 4998 North County Road 100 East, Danville IN

DETAILS: Auditions will consist of a reading from the play script and other acting exercises. If you'd like to get a copy of the audition material ahead of time to prepare, please email ThompsonRS@yahoo.com.
Rehearsals will begin October 3. Please bring a list conflicts to the audition. A rehearsal schedule will be available at the audition. Performances are December 2-4 and 9-11.

SYNOPSIS: In this hilarious Christmas classic, adapted from the best-selling book by Barbara Robinson, Grace Bradley is a woman who suddenly finds herself in charge of the annual Christmas pageant and is faced with casting the Herdman kids - probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem, and the fun, when the Herdman clan collide with the Christmas story head on!

MRS. MCCARTHY - a younger, less imperious version of Mrs. Armstrong, middle 40s

OLLIE HERDMAN - looking for trouble, Claude's usual partner in crime
GLADYS HERDMAN - smail, wiry, fiesty
ALICE WENDLEKEN - prim, proper, pain in the neck
