Auditions - Bill W. and Dr. Bob

   

Stage Door Productions has rescheduled auditions for Bill W. and Dr. Bob. This is due to unforseen circumstances. Auditions will be held now at IndyFringe on Saturday, July 29th from 12:00PM to 3:00 PM in the Frank Basile Space.

Bill W. and Dr. Bob is a powerful docudrama based on the two men who founded the Alcoholics Anonymous movement in 1935 in Akron, Ohio. Bill's wife Lois and Bob's wife Anne are credited with starting the Al Anon movement, a support group for people affected by their loved one's addiction.

Bill W. and Dr. Bob will be staged at IndyFringe in The Frank Basile Theater Space on November 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th and then again on November 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.

Roles available are for 3 women and 1 man.

Lois: Bill's wife. Age 40 to 50. Patient, Loyal, Understanding.

Anne: Dr. Bob's wife Age 50 to 60 Patient,Loyal,Understanding .

Woman: Age 30 to 45 Plays a variety of different roles. Excellent part for an actress showing a lot of versatility. Need good comic sense as well as dramatic.

Man: Age 30 to 45. Plays a variety of different roles including the role of Billy D. the third member of the AA movement.

The roles of Bill W and Dr Bob have been precast.
