Audition Information – Indy Bard Fest
Auditions will be held at the
719 E St Clair St, Indianapolis, IN 46202
They will be Sunday June 10th from 2 – 6pm & Monday June 11th 7-10pm
Auditions are by appointment – To request a slot please e-mail Glenn Dobbs at email@example.com
All actors are asked to prepare a 1-2 minute Shakespeare monologue and may be asked to read from sides
PRECASTING NOTICE : Due to the close proximity of The Indy Fringe Festival and the availability of actors – the Directors of all three productions have chosen to Precast several roles in each production. However, we are looking to find new talent as well every year and we view our shows as ensemble productions. Everyone is needed to tell these great stories. Please check the Bard Best Facebook page and First Folio Facebook pages to learn what roles are open for each show .
You will be auditioning for all three show directors at the same time. If you are looking for a specific role – please specify in the e mail you send above
All actors are paid a stipend based on a profit sharing formula with the Fringe Theater.
If you have a question about the productions or for the directors – please send it to the Artistic Director – Glenn Dobbs – at the email above and it will be forwarded to the director
At the conclusion of the auditions – results will be posted on their website and on the Bard Facebook page.
