Nickel Plate Players Holding Auditions for The Masks We Wear at the Cat in Carmel

Those wishing to audition should prepare a one-minute monologue and choose a provided song in the appropriate range from www.maskswewear.wix.com/home. Additionally, please bring an 8" x 10" headshot and resume to the auditions, if possible. Please note that this show is best suited for mature audiences. Open call auditions for Nickel Plate Players’ March cabaret, "The Masks We Wear," will take place at The Cat (254 1st Ave SW, Carmel, Indiana 46032)  on Monday, January 29, from 7pm to 9:30pm. Seven roles (3m; 4f) are available for men and women ages 18 – 45; One additional male role is pre-cast. Callbacks will be held and announced at a later date if found necessary. Performances will run March 16 and 17 at The Cat.

Hoosier writer and director Adam Allen is working with Nickel Plate Players to bring his new and emotional cabaret about the realities of anxiety and depression to central Indiana. The show, which aims to foster a more open conversation about mental health, brings together popular musical theatre songs, mental health statistics, and raw emotion for a touching and thought-provoking evening.
