Nettle Creek Players, a professional summer stock tent theatre, will hold auditions for their 2019 Summer Season on Saturday, March 2 from 11am-1pm at The Wilkinson Theatre at Earlham College, 801 National Road West, Richmond, Indiana. To schedule an audition, actors should email firstname.lastname@example.org and request an appointment. Video submissions will also be accepted prior to March 10 at that same email address. The season includes “Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Rumpelstiltskin,” or “The Faeirie’s Secret Name,” and the musical revue “Gershwin & Friends: A Broadway Songbook Cabaret.” There are roles available for adult actors as well as teens and children ages 10 and above. Actor contracts will include a performance stipend, and there will be stage management, internship and educational opportunities available as well. Rehearsals begin June 17 and the performances will run from July 5 to 28. Hagerstown is located one hour east of Indianapolis just off of Interstate 70. Actors will be asked to provide a photo and resume and prepare one song in the style of contemporary Broadway musicals. An accompanist will be provided. There are also positions available in Stage Management and other technical areas. Those interested in technical theatre should also request an audition time and prepare for a brief interview.
