Garfield Shakespeare Company Announces Auditions for Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
Audition Dates: June 14th and 15th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Audition Location: Garfield Park Arts Center, Garfield Park
2432 Conservatory Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46203

Main performances will be on August 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th and September 2nd and 3rd in the MacAllister Amphitheater at Garfield Park on the south side of Indianapolis. There will also be a shortened performance at the Clayshire Castle Medieval Faire in Bowling Green, Indiana on September 24th. Rehearsals will be primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and some Saturday afternoons in Garfield Park.

All roles are available. This is primarily an adult production, but we encourage anyone to audition if you are 14 years old and up. Some roles may be filled by either female or male regardless of the role’s apparent or listed gender.

No monologue is required. All those auditioning will be asked to read from the script. No appointment is necessary.

Garfield Shakespeare Company is a community theater company that presents classical theater for free to the Indianapolis and surrounding communities.
