AUDITION DETAILS
Hendricks Civic Theatre is proud to present auditions for Sense and Sensibility (play)

WHO: All roles are open for audition.

WHEN: Auditions will be held Tuesday, April 16 at 6 pm or Thursday, April 18 at 6 pm at HCT’s Longstreet Playhouse. You only need to attend one night.

WHAT TO PREPARE: Prepare a 1 1/2 – 2 minute monologue. Auditions will also include a cold (unprepared) reading from the script. Please bring a list of all known conflicts to audition.

They encourage you to complete the Online Audition Form (link above) ahead of your audition and the information will be given to the director.

Paper copies of the form will be available at the audition venue.

REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES
The show will be presented at Longstreet Playhouse June 7-9 and 13-15, 2019
This will be an atypical run with Friday and Saturday evening and a Sunday matinee performances the first weekend and Thursday through Saturday evenings the second weekend. No second weekend matinee due to Father’s Day.

Rehearsals will typically be Monday – Thursday from 6:30 – 8:30 at Longstreet Playhouse.

SYNOPSIS
When their wealthy half-brother cheats them of their fortune, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood are left penniless. They are forced to leave the comforts of Norland Park to relocate to chilly Barton Cottage in Devonshire, but when John Willoughby, a handsome stranger, arrives one day with a rain-drenched Marianne in his arms, the sisters are convinced that their fortunes are changed forever.
