Pioneer Village at the Indiana State Fair, August 2016, presents a musical revue: State Fair…the INDIANA Musical, which requires a number of singers.
Auditions are at 7 pm on May 23 and 24, with call backs scheduled if needed on May 25. Auditions will be held in the 2nd floor auditorium of the 4H Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Parking is available behind the building.
Singers/actors of all ages are encouraged to audition.
Auditioners should come prepared to read from a script and sing. Please bring music for a musical show or other song of your choice. Accompaniment is provided.
The show is a musical revue with some dialogue and songs used in vignettes that focus on various Indiana State Fair related situations. Most of the show is chorus singing.
The rehearsal and performance schedules are already set, so please bring your calendar with you to auditions to determine any conflicts.
Rehearsals begin June 6. Show dates/times are August 11, 12, 13, 16, 19 at 7 pm, August 13, 14 16 at 3 pm, August 20 at 6 pm.
