St. John Lutheran Church and School has for years had a strong music program with many choirs and 2 school bands and is in need of an instructor. Their band classes are a 5th grade beginning band and a 6-8 grade band. Their current schedule (which can be flexible) is:
Monday/Wednesday
5th grade beginning band 1:27-2:12
Tuesday/Thursday
Grades 6-8 2:14-2:50
Band classes could possibly be moved to just 2 days with both bands one right after the other.
Compensation depends on education and experience. St. John's is a non-public school therefore compensation is not equal to a public school. St. John's is a Christian school and much of their music is faith based.
