Buck Creek Playhouse will hold open auditions for The Great American Trailer Park Musical with book by Betsy Kelso, Music and Lyrics by David Nehls, on Monday and Tuesday, February 13 & 14, 2023, at 7 p.m.at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue.
Director Ben Jones and Musical Director Jill Stewart are looking for a diverse group of 5 women and 2 men. All roles are available.
There’s a new tenant at Armadillo Acres—and she’s wreaking havoc all over Florida’s most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil–loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband—the storms begin to brew.
AUDITION PREPARATION:
Bring resume and headshot, if available.
Please prepare a verse and chorus of a song showing your vocal range. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
You may be asked to read from the script or sing from the score.
The Great American Trailer Park Musical is scheduled for nine performances for three weekends, June 2, 2023 – June 18, 2023.
Please bring a list of all conflicts from April 1, 2023, through June 18, 2023.
Rehearsals are tentatively set to begin in mid-April 2023.
