A STEAMPUNK THEMED ART EXHIBIT
ACCELERATION ART & PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY
(FOUNTAIN SQUARE)
THEME & ELIGIBILITY: Works that complement the general aesthetic of the gallery and theme.
Work must be original, completed within the past two years and not previously exhibited more than twice.
Works in progress will also be considered for entry and upon acceptance must be completed by delivery deadline.
SPECIFICATIONS: No size limitation, however, some pieces may not be accepted due to space, flow and hazard issues and restrictions. All 2D works must be suitably presented. Wall hanging pieces must have D ring attachments or be properly ready to hang. Hanging works may not exceed 20 lbs. The gallery will be responsible for hanging your work and a liability form will need to be released prior to committing to the show.
Number of pieces, per artist, will depend on the sizes and available space.
ACCEPTED MEDIUMS: All mediums will be considered for entry, including 3D works, however, some pieces may not be accepted due to space, flow and hazard issues and restrictions.
SALES: A respectful 25% commission donation is requested for the gallery. The gallery will handle all sales.
Artists can pick up sale monies the day of strike.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: Please send digital images with file names that identify the work and/ or sketch concept of works in progress to AMY WARD at AMYWARDSTUDIO@GMAIL.COM
Please include the following: Title, Year, Dimensions (HxWxD), Medium/Materials and Sale Price with each image.
DEADLINE: JULY 3RD, 2017
A $25 flat hanging fee will be requested for all participating artists. There is no fee to submit.
Participating artists will be notified by MONDAY, AUGUST 15TH 2016
ACCELERATION ART & PHOTOGRAPHY is a FREE, ALL AGES venue.
OPENING RECEPTION: FIRST FRIDAY, AUGUST 4th
7PM-11PM
DETAILS REGARDING THE OPENING RECEPTION WILL BE SENT DIRECTLY TO PARTICIPATING ARTISTS.
EXHIBITION DATES: AUGUST 4TH - AUGUST 31ST
STRIKE DATE/ PICK UP: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND

LIABILITY: The event coordinator will not insure works while in their possession. All reasonable care will be given to the works while in their custody. You are welcome to insure your works on your own terms while in their possession
