Exhibit Overview

Explore artwork by local artists of all ages from Indy’s LGBTQ community. This exhibit intends to promote equality, inclusivity, and respect by highlighting local LGBTQ artists. Artwork showcased will aim to be reflective of individuals’ identities, stories, and experiences to achieve awareness of LGBTQ issues, especially as they relate to our Hoosier environment. Celebrate diversity through the voices of these artists, and unite as one in support of our local LGBTQ community.

Any artists with work that fits the theme of this exhibition are encouraged to apply. Please see requirements and guidelines located on our website. Artists can submit their artwork and supplemental information to GPAC@Indy.Gov.  Deadline to submit is by end-of-day on August 13th. Artists will be notified shortly after the deadline. All artwork must be dropped off to GPAC no later than September 1st. Artwork for this show will be curated by a selection committee from GPAC and art experts part of the local LGBTQ community.
