“Resistance is Female.” Women have been creating protest art for decades. Using art as a vehicle for self-expression, this exhibition will feature artwork in a diverse range of mediums that explores the theme of resistance in our current climate. View social, political, and cultural commentary in visual art through the lens of local female and female-identifying artists.
Any artists with work that fits the theme of this exhibition are encouraged to apply. Please see requirements and guidelines located on their website. Artists can submit their artwork and supplemental information to GPAC@Indy.Gov. Deadline to submit is by end-of-day on April 13th. Artists will be notified shortly after the deadline. All artwork must be dropped off to GPAC no later than April 27th.
