Carmel Community Players Seeking Directors
It is once again time to seek directors for the upcoming 2017-2018 Season at Carmel Community Players. Please read the following and submit your plays/musicals as soon before the deadline of Nov. 30, 2016 as you possibly can.
It is time once again to request submissions from interested directors to be considered for our 2017-2018 season. To be considered for production, please submit the following:
Complete the Program Selection Submission Form (call Jan Jamison regarding forms - 317-605-5615)
Please submit a copy of each script, play or musical. If submitting a musical, please provide a copy of a cast recording, CD, preferred.
Your submission must include a theatrical resume outlining your past experience and background.
Please list any production staff you will be bringing to work with you i.e. producer, costumer, vocal director, techies, etc.
Please review the stage layout (attached) and include ideas on the set you will require for production.
Please include ideas on how you will help market your production. What type audience do you hope to attract?
All submissions must be received by November 30, 2016 (please let me know if you should need an extension).
Please note: You may submit any play or musical you wish; however keep in mind, their facility and stage as well as the marketability of your submission. Carmel Community Players wishes to uphold their "family friendly" theatre atmosphere.
New pieces as well as old favorites are strongly encouraged. Also keep in mind the Holiday, spot should you wish to submit a Winter Holiday piece.
