Summary/Objective
Provide oversight and direction for the audio department, serve as the principal point of contact for all event audio needs, and be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all audio equipment and systems at the Palladium.

Competencies
Required Education and Experience (Indicate education based on requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessity.)
Bachelor’s Degree level of education or equivalent experience
ETCP certified technician a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will supervise other full-time staff, overhire staff, and interns who are assigned to fulfill audio department responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional event venue environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Ability to work at heights
Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity, especially in low-light situations
Ability to bend, push, lift, carry, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to speak and listen clearly, especially via radio
Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time Position with Full Benefits and 401(k) eligibility. Will require working evenings and weekends.

No travel is expected for this position.
