James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home Christmas Open House
Description: The fourth annual Christmas Open House will be held on Saturday, December 8th from 10am-4pm. Last year, the Museum Home enjoyed its largest turn out ever for it’s holiday celebration. The event features free tours of the 146 years-old home decorated for a Victorian Christmas, carols played on their original player piano in the beautiful parlor, a real Victorian Santa Clause, and snacks and crafts in the Billie Lou Wood Visitor Center.
This year, the Christmas Open House will feature artists who make their own fine crafts. Booth
space will be available in the lower level of our Visitor Center located immediately adjacent to
our Historic House Museum. They ask that any interested artists contact Museum Manager, Chris
Mize. Please send a detailed description and photos of your art or craft to any of the following:

Deadline for Entry: Artists will be chosen from interested applicants no later than October 20th, 2018
Cost: This is the first year the Christmas Open House will feature art vendors. Therefore,
there will be no reservation or both fee for participating artists. 5×2.5 foot tables can be provided at artist request.
