Request For Proposals (RFP) for Development of the Chicago Public Art Plan

The City of Chicago ("City") acting through the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events ("DCASE") seeks proposals from professional creative and cultural services firms, cultural planners, or cultural institutions within the academic community (a "Consultant") for the development (writing and design, as described below) of the Chicago Public Art Plan (the "Plan") projected for completion and publication by late Fall 2016. The intent of the Public Art Plan is to provide a strategy that will guide and support the City's public art practice, planning, policy and conservation and serve as a resource for other municipalities, planners, administrators and stakeholders concerned with public art.

A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on May 16, 2016 at 2pm, Central Standard Time, at the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, 78 E. Washington St., 1st Floor Garland Room, Chicago, IL 60602.

Attendance is Non-Mandatory, but encouraged.
