CITY OF INDIANAPOLIS NEIGHBORHOOD GRANT PROGRAM
Administered by INRC, with funding from the City of Indianapolis through an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Allocation

The City of Indianapolis Neighborhood Grants Program is designed to support the engagement, collective action, and increased development of all neighborhoods and neighborhood-based organizations. This program seeks to reinforce the strengths and assets within Indianapolis’ neighborhoods by providing financial resources for projects and activities that are designed to increase resident engagement, promote neighborhood action, and establish new and stronger relationships among neighbors, grassroots organizations, and other stakeholders.

Applicants may request grants from $2,500 to $10,000. Applicants must provide proper documentation of project expenditures greater than or equal to the amount requested within 12 months from the receipt of grant funds, or 1 month following project completion, whichever is sooner.

Round 3 will open in March 2023!

Friday March 10, 2023: Round 3 Application Opens

Monday, April 17, 2023, 5pm:  Applications are due

*Interested applicants must attend one of the info sessions listed above. Attending an information session from a previous round does not count.*

The Neighborhood Grant Program funds are made available by the City of Indianapolis through the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, CFDA No. 21.027, created by Section 9901 of the American Rescue Plan Act, Pub. L. No. 117-2 (March 11, 2021). Up to $500,000 is eligible for distribution under this program.

All information submitted as a part of this application process is confidential. A list of all grantees will be made public. The maximum grant request is $10,000. Applications will be evaluated by INRC staff members for compliance with eligible expenses and will receive final approval by the Grants Advisory Committee.
