TITLE: Youth Theatre Director
REPORTS TO: Arts and Education Manager
WORK SCHEDULE: Contract position
OPEN: Position open until filled
SUMMARY: Responsible for the selection, design, development and performance of a theatrical show for students up to age 18. Seeks a highly motivated, reliable, organized and experienced individual with all aspects of theatre performance, as well as the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships between students, parents and all library staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have knowledge of stage performance, stage directing experience, ability to successfully work with youth. Have a repertoire of skits and play performances. Must be able to appropriately engage youth with skill building activities and promote fun learning environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with children and computers a must.
