The Creative Placemaking Program Coordinator contributes to meeting INRC's goals to strengthen, develop, and empower neighborhood organizations by facilitating the work of INRC's new creative placemaking initiative. This position will partner with neighborhood associations and stakeholders to implement and evaluate engagement and creative placemaking plans that promote and highlight each neighborhood's distinctive assets. This position supports neighborhoods as they involve new residents and develop sustainable partnerships that become integral to their placemaking efforts. Under the general direction of the Director of Neighborhood Development, the Creative Placemaking Program Coordinator will schedule and organize creative placemaking training sessions and will coordinate efforts with staff and program partners to assist the neighborhood associations in advancing an engagement and placemaking plan. This position requires the ability to work evening and weekend hours on an ongoing basis.
