AUDITION TIME: 6:30-8:30 (space opens at 6:00 for warm up; please arrive early to fill out forms and bring your calendars)
AUDITION LOCATION: Turning Pointe Academy of Dance (7114 Lakeview Pkwy W Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46268)
COST: $0/audition (there is a project-based dancer due if chosen to participate)
AGE: 18 and over
EXPERIENCE: Geared towards intermediate/advanced dancers, but all experience levels encouraged to attend!
SHOW DATES: TBD, late August tentatively
The audition will include a guided warm-up and choreographer led combinations based on ballet, modern, and jazz movement phrases as well as improv.
Crossroads Dance Indy (CDI) is a 501c(3) Indianapolis dance collective with a focus on community and collaboration. Rehearsals primarily take place on Mondays from 6-10pm at Turning Pointe Academy of Dance. If Mondays do not work well for you, there is potential for other rehearsal days/times so you are encouraged to audition anyway!
If you are cast and choose to participate in this opportunity, you should plan to attend Monday technique classes (appropriate exceptions will be made if needed). Rehearsal attendance is required for all pieces in which you are cast. Necessary absences will be accommodated as CDI is able, but attendance is a priority.
Note: Crossroads Dance Indy does not have a vaccination policy, but is required to adhere to policies set forth by performance venues. CDI will update dancers as policies may change.
