For: Permanent displays at Danville’s Jack Willard Community Park
Theme: Children at Play
Calling all artists! Danville Rotary would like to add some art to the Jack Willard Community Park. They are accepting submissions of art with the theme “Children At Play” until July 31st. There are three categories, and two pictures will be chosen from each category for permanent display at the Jack Willard Community Park.
Two winners will be chosen in each of three age categories: 6-12, 13-18, and adult. Art needs to be submitted as flat paper or canvas as it will be scanned to format. Final display size is 24″ wide by 18″ high. 12″ x 9″ can also be accepted but the larger size is preferred.
Entries can be brought to the Gallery on the Square in Danville 51 S. Washington Street, M-F, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The finished installations will be revealed at an event this fall. Date TBD.
