The Devils Lake Festival of the Arts is a one-day juried fine art show located in the artist village of Manitou Beach, MI on the shores of Devils Lake. The village has a Nantucket resort feel and has a growing reputation as an up and coming art enclave that coexists with unique boutiques, eateries, art galleries, and Inns. The Festival is in it’s 7th year and continues to grow each year with over 4000 visitors attending 2019. Besides the main focus of showcasing the artists, the Festival event also includes hands-on art activities for kids, demonstrations, music, dance, 12+ food trucks and more.
For 2021 we will be expanding the village layout to accommodate 65 artist booths. On the same day, our local farmers market committee will be hosting a “Juried” Crafters Market in the cannery building. As a result of these and other projects we are working on, we are expecting an increase of at least 2000 visitors. Our anticipated attendance is 6000 people for the 2021 Devils Lake Festival of the Arts.
A team of volunteers support our artists during set-up; provide breaks and refreshments throughout the day, and help with the teardown at the end of the day.
Applications with $25 fee due by June 30, 2021 for July 31, 2021 event.
