Discover Wauwatosa is seeking 64 artists to participate in the second year of ART 64, a 2-day bracket-style live painting tournament with a grand prize of $20,000. The tournament will take place in The Village of Wauwatosa, WI on June 9-10, 2023.
The application for artists who wish to participate is now available online at Art64Tosa.com. The application is open to artists from across the country. All 64 competing artists receive a minimum of $100 for participation, with prize money increasing each round they advance.
During the competition, members of the public are invited to watch the paintings come to life and vote for their favorite paintings online. The artist in each pairing with the most votes advances to the next round. Paintings created during the tournament will be auctioned online using OneCause’s mobile bidding platform – if sold, artists will receive 70% of sale, 20% commission will go to the Wauwatosa Parks Improvement Fund, with the remaining 10% going back to ART 64.
