AUDITION NOTICE
This winter, Recent Cutbacks is making its way to The District Theatre, with a fun-filled and heartwarming parody of "Home Alone" called "KEVIN!!!!!" This show features live projections, puppets, and a four-person choir. They are currently looking for Indy-based singers: Soprano, Alto, Baritone/Bass.
Singers should have a familiarity with classical/choral tradition, but also be excited to sing some Christmas pop. Experience with Foley, and vocal percussion is a plus!
REHEARSALS:
12/12/18: Tech/Rehearse (during the day- approximately 5 hrs.)
12/13/18: Tech/Rehearse (during the day- approximately 5 hrs.)
SHOWS:
12/13-12/16: 4-show run* (Sun. matinee)
12/18-12/23: 6-show run* (Sun. matinee)
*Additional Saturday matinees may be added pending ticket sales
The show runs approximately 55 minutes-with a one-hour call prior. (Approximately a 2-hour commitment on show days)
AUDITIONS:
Please email a 2-3 min video to rsears118@gmail.com with the subject line: “KEVIN!!!!!- INDY SINGER” Submissions should include a brief intro (Who are you? Voice part?) and two quick renditions of your favorite Christmas songs a cappella (one ballad, one up tempo) - Think ‘HOME ALONE’.
