JULY 2018: FIT TO PRINT Exhibition

Nickel Plate Arts is looking for some charming prints! “Fit to Print,” their July 2018 exhibit, seeks to celebrate the product and process of printmaking. Etchings, engravings, monoprints, woodcuts, lithography, screen printing, letterpress, and more – we want to showcase a variety of processes from the printmaking artists in our network. Want to include your work? Fill out the submission form HERE and include all pertinent info. Deadline for submissions is Friday, June 22nd.

Hanging space in the gallery is limited – they encourage artists submitting 2D artwork to submit pieces no larger than 24″ x 24″. All 2D pieces should be wired for hanging. Artists should submit no more than three pieces for consideration. All artist submissions will receive notification as to whether or not the submission was accepted into the exhibit. Accepted artwork should be dropped off on the appropriate dates as specified by the Exhibit Coordinator, Rachael O’Dell (rodell@nickelplatearts.org). If additional accommodations are necessary, please let them know.

“Fit to Print” will be on display in the Judge Stone House gallery space from July 6-28 with most works for sale. Nickel Plate Arts will host a special opening reception on Friday, July 6th from 6-9pm with live music, refreshments, drinks, and more. After the reception, the exhibit will be viewable during normal gallery hours, Wed – Fri from noon – 5pm and Saturday from 10am – 5pm.
