Garfield Park Art and Music Festival Seeks Artists, Performers

Calling all local artists! Applications are open to perform or sell your art at this year's Garfield Park Art and Music Festival!

Guidelines for performers:

1. Artists who are Indianapolis-based or from the surrounding counties only.
2. Be available on Saturday, August 12 from 4-9 PM for the festival and organization of sound needs at the Garfield Park Amphitheater, plus additional setup and teardown time as needed for your set.
3. Have at least 30 mins of material (original music only) to perform.
4. Be okay with performing live or virtually.
5. Be able to supply a set list along with lyrics so that Garfield Park may organize ASL interpretation when possible.
6. Be willing to promote on behalf of the festival.
7. Any acts with racist, sexist, homophobic/transphobic, or vulgar lyricism/attitudes need not apply.

Guidelines for visual artists:

1. Artists who are Indianapolis-based or from the surrounding counties.
2. Be available on Saturday, Aug 12 from 3-9 PM for the festival, plus additional setup and teardown time as needed for (more information to be provided to selected artists). Artists who teardown early or show up late will not be considered for future events.
3. Only original, handmade artwork by the artist is allowed (includes prints of original artwork).
4. Provide your own pop-up tent (no deep stakes), tables, chair, table coverings, etc. for a 10x10 booth space. No access to electricity.
5. Pay a $50 booth fee by deadline (payment methods to be provided to selected artists).
6. Be willing to promote on behalf of the festival.
7. Any artwork with racist, sexist, homophobic/transphobic, or vulgar content will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal of artist from the event.
