Think outside the frame for this exhibition! Artists working in various 3D mediums, including sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, woodwork, metalsmithing, and more, are encouraged to submit for Garfield Park Art Center’s January exhibit.
There is no cost to submit.
Freestanding work must not exceed seventy‐two (72) inches in height or fifty (50) pounds.
All works must be ready to hang or install upon arrival. If your piece hangs, some sort of hanging structure, such as a wire, must be included as we cannot hang anything from the ceiling. Please contact GPAC for information or questions. If shipped, work must include return shipping.
Please indicate your desire to participate in the show by emailing GPAC@indy.gov by December 15, 2017, or by mailing a portfolio to The Garfield Park Arts Center. In your email or mailed portfolio, please include your name, address, phone number, email, a short artist statement or bio, and a brief description of your work including: titles for each piece, mediums, and dimensions. Please also include the images of your work you intend to submit for the exhibition, either attached to the email or on a CD, if mailing a portfolio.
Artists will be notified of all decisions no later than December 20, 2017.
All works must be delivered to the Arts Center no later than Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 4pm. Please note that we will be closed for the Christmas holiday December 24‐27th. If you would like to make arrangements to drop off your work during non‐business hours, please call us.
The GPAC is a family friendly venue so all artwork must be venue appropriate.
