Artists and artisans are invited to participate in the fifth annual Green Light Art Festival hosted by Putnam County Comprehensive Services, located on the square in beautiful downtown Greencastle. This event will be in conjunction with September First Friday and the Greencastle Farmers Market. This outdoor event will take place Friday Sept. 1st from 5pm-dusk and Saturday 8am-2pm.
The art show and sale is open to artists who create works in 2-D and 3-D media such as ceramics, paintings, photography, drawings, glass, jewelry, digital art, metal art and woodworking.
There will also be space available for Hoosier artisans specializing in handcrafted candles, soaps, signs, etc.
The event is free to artists, but they must register due to limited space.
